A number of people booking with us have asked if they can pay either their deposit or the full holiday amount via credit card instead of cheque. Unfortunately the cost of becoming a credit card merchant through traditional methods such as one of the major banks is both expensive and limiting for such a small venture as ours.
We have therefore decided to trial PayPal as an alternative method of payment. For those of you familiar with eBay you will know PayPal is a great way of using your credit card without the selling party, in this case us, getting hold of your credit card details You simply register your credit card or bank details with PayPal and they act as an independent party between buyer and seller.
When you book your holiday and decide to use PayPal we simply use PayPal to send an invoice to you requesting the funds. You approve the invoice and confirm that you wish to pay it and the money is taken from your credit card or bank by PayPal and sent to us. This is especially useful for last minute bookings.
