Definitions
“the property” – 11 Puffin Way, Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire SA62 3HP
“the hirer” – any party entering into an arrangement to rent the property
“the owners” Mr and Mrs C.Newman, Drumlin, Louches Lane, Naphill HP14 4QJ
The property available for rental for holiday purposes only and the hirer must only use it for this purpose only.
Booking requests may be made via telephone or email but no booking is considered confirmed until the deposit cheque has been received and a written booking confirmation issued.
A £50 non-returnable deposit will be required to secure a booking. All cheques should be made payable to “Mr & Mrs C.Newman”.
The remaining balance on all holiday bookings must be payable within eight weeks of the day of arrival.
For bookings made within an eight week period of the day of arrival the full amount is due immediately at time of booking.
If a booking is cancelled less than eight weeks prior to arrival date we will endeavour to re-let the property. However if this is not possible the full amount paid will be forfeited. We strongly recommend that you have holiday insurance that covers cancellation. We are happy to help with this, please contact us for details.
The commencement of the letting period is 3pm (please contact us as soon as possible if an earlier arrival is required) on the day of arrival through to 10am on the day of departure.
The owners accept no liability to the hirer or any of their part for any personal injury, loss or damage to property however sustained or caused, nor for the loss or theft of property including cash.
The hirer is responsible for the property and undertakes to take all reasonable care of it, to keep it secure and in a clean and tidy condition.
All breakages or damage must be reported immediately to the owner. Adequate payment must be made to cover all such losses or damage.
Under no account should the maximum number of persons (five) staying in the property be exceed.
Pets are not permitted in the property.
The owner and/or their representatives retain the right to enter the property at any time without prior notice.
The cost of rental includes electricity, hot water and heating cost.
Rental of the property includes freshly laundered bed linen (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and bath mats). For bookings longer than one week a change of bed linen will be offered each week.
A high chair and a booster seat is available in the property at no extra charge.
Should the property be unavailable on the day stated all monies will be refunded to the hirer. The owner’s liability is limited to the maximum rental paid for the property.
Whilst the owner makes every effort to ensure all the advertised facilities are available no liability can be accepted for any loss in facilities due to events outside of the owner’s control. Examples of such events include, but are not exclusive to – flood, fire, electricity cuts,
Any complaint arising to the property on arrival or once occupation has commenced must be brought to the owner’s attention immediately.
No liability will be accepted by the owner for additional services arranged on behalf of the hirer.
The property should be left in the same clean and tidy condition it was found on your arrival. The owner reserves the right to levy an additional charge to cover the costs of any extra cleaning.
